BookNLink
Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to ask before ordering

Fourteen questions covering integration, billing, security, cancellation and support. Not answered here? Reach out at support@booknlink.org.

1. Do I need an existing BookNLink workspace to use any module?

Yes. Every module is designed to integrate through the official BookNLink API and works alongside the workspace. If you don't yet have a workspace, our sales team will help you set one up before onboarding any module.

2. Do the modules replace BookNLink?

No. Each module extends the workspace — none of them replaces the core distribution platform. BookNLink remains the source of truth for inventory, rates and reservations.

3. How long does onboarding take?

The sandbox environment is provisioned within five business days after order confirmation. Rollout to production typically takes another three to seven days depending on how many PMS and OTA endpoints are involved.

4. Is there a minimum contract term?

No. Modules are billed monthly and can be cancelled at the end of any calendar month with one month's notice.

5. What happens during the first month?

The first calendar month of productive use is included at no cost. No card is charged during setup. Regular monthly billing begins from the second month.

6. Which payment methods do you accept?

SEPA direct debit, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and bank transfer (invoice net 14 days) for customers with an established credit line.

7. Where is my data stored?

All customer data is stored in EU-based data centres (Hetzner Cloud, Germany). Encrypted off-site backups reside in a second EU data centre for disaster-recovery purposes.

8. Are the modules GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We sign a Data Processing Agreement under Article 28 GDPR with every customer. See our DPA page.

9. Can I self-host any module?

Not at present. Every module runs on the BookNLink infrastructure in Germany to guarantee consistent latency and observability. On-premises variants are available for customers with more than fifty properties on a case-by-case basis.

10. What is your uptime commitment?

99.5% average monthly availability. Breaches are compensated with automatic service credits — see our refund policy.

11. How do I raise a support ticket?

Email support@booknlink.org. Critical incidents are triaged within two hours during business days.

12. Do you offer volume pricing?

Yes. Beyond ten properties on the same workspace, we apply a tiered discount that scales to fifty and one hundred properties. Contact sales for a quote.

13. Is a sandbox account included?

Yes. Every module ships with a sandbox account so you can validate mappings before rolling out to production.

14. How do I cancel?

Send a text-form notice to support@booknlink.org with subject "Cancellation" and the module ID. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the following calendar month.
